While at the property, you're surrounded by shoreline with expansive views in a naturally beautiful wooded setting. Eat breakfast on the deck and watch for the blue heron who likes to land on the peak of the dock. It's an easy stroll down to the shoreline and extra large private dock with both sunny and covered, shaded areas. Or hike through the woods to the hidden shoreline in the quiet cove. A canoe, 4 kayaks, 2 SUPs and various water toys are available to use during your stay.
Large dock for all your watercraft
Keep your boats, jet skis, etc at the large dock directly in front of the home. Boat and other watercraft rentals are available at nearby marinas.
There's plenty of room for the whole family to hang out on the dock which has covered, shaded areas with ceiling fans as well as a large area open to the sun. Getting into the water is easy via the steps near the shoreline or off the diving board. Boat traffic is minimal in the cove so swimming along the shoreline is peaceful.

With so much to explore at Smith Mountain Lake you could head out to somewhere new every day but will also have the dock and expansive shoreline to enjoy while staying at your home base. There are ample restaurant varieties for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
